Suramar was unquestionably highlight of the expansion for mepersonally. The audio, the ambient, the gold wow classic sole pursuit series that was not a pain to perform, but was rather agreeable andimmersive.
I truly hope Shadowlands will have something similar.An expansion so great that it killed all the raiding guilds whohad a significant amount of raid loggers. AP was this type of tumor on the game, particularly in Nighthold, it does not even needlegiondaries to reevaluate all the great Legion did.IMO among the worst expansions and a huge downfall for WoW generally. Itintroduced almost every single unfavorable design doctrine in the sport right now. Time gating… borrowed electricity, clunkycourse design(more so because of the pruning of post legion class design AKA reduction of artifact weapon). Mythic +… pvpscaling and pve scaling… pvp gearing… The list goes on and on Legion was the start of everything that has been bad the pasttwo expansions.
Legion is definitely a Wrath of the Lich King moment in terms of design paradigm shift. It shifted considerablytowards RNG, uncapped grinds and borrowed electricity systems.RNG and uncapped grinds have been a failure breeding a lot ofbitterness. Borrowed power systems have been highly unstable.Exactly issues individuals have now and to get sl’s largly orginatedat LEGION, but nah people simply renember the evry very tail end of legion when stuff was sort of fixed finnaly and nothign elseand what impact it left game’s design for a wholeI miss the artifact weapon.
The ap mill was annoying at times but it defeatsroutine weapon grind RNG every day of the week.I’ve played since December 2004 off and on, but I’ve played a substantial amount inevery single expansion. I frankly had the gold wow classic most enjoyable in Legion. It was just really solid. I felt like there was alwayssomething to go work on. I loved my class hallway, Skyhold. I loved the delight of randomly obtaining a mythical item.I have a lotof hope for SL. Legion was so recent. I know Blizzard can nevertheless make a fantastic expansion.
