NBA 2K23 released the overall ratings for the top five picks of the 2022 NBA draft on Tuesday.For Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren who was the no. 2 pick came in at 77 overall NBA 2K MT. This is the third highest rating after Paolo Banchero and Jabari Smith Jr. at an overall 78 each.
Now the reality is that Holmgren will not be playing in the upcoming season due to recovering from the end of his season-ending foot injury. It’s going to be difficult to imagine Holmgren improve his score this season. Most likely, that he’ll remain at 77 for the duration of the game.
Although that’s not true, it’s amazing to have Holmgren and other top rookies being rated so low.
