I feel as the cost of building the mmo genre will be nearly impossible to enter without prior base.
There’s a couple of ones on the horizon with a theoretical endless budget like new universe and ashes of creation but those mmos would have to be polished to perfection and radical to get people to stay on them along with my hopes for them are not very high.
I used to talk with Hazzikostas regularly in Vanilla. We played on the exact same server. He was among the most friendly and intelligent gamers I have ever met. Even back then he and his guild were famous for the theorycraft they brought to the game. I can’t fathom he is genuinely incompetent. There is just no way.
