Flirting is not something that comes easily to everyone. Even the most confident person will freeze and say a smug "hey" when their crush approaches them in the halls. But gitarijada be discouraged. We have plenty of tips for flirting that will help you get your crush’s attention.

    1. Be confident. There is nothing more sexy than confidence. Your crush (and everyone else) will take notice if you’re strutting down the halls like you own them. Your crush will want to get to know the girl who knows she’s something special.

    2. Show
attitude status that you are interested in their lives. Everybody loves a compliment and almost everyone enjoys talking about themselves. Don’t miss the chance to chat with your crush. Ask them many questions about their lives to show that you really care. They will appreciate your curiosity and be open to a second conversation.

    3. Draw attention to your lips. It sounds ridiculous but it actually works. Keep chapstick and lip gloss handy. Apply a layer of lip gloss to your lips when you notice your crush approaching. They will be imagining their lips all day.

    4. When you see your crush in the hallways, smile and say hello. It can be terrifying to see your crush walking down the hall. Your instinctive reaction is to glance down at the phone and pretend you’re having a heated text conversation. However, ignore these instincts, smile at them, and instead look up. It’s not necessary to start a large conversation (unless it’s something you are interested in). Just take a half-second to wave, say hi, then keep moving. Boom–you’ll be on your crush’s radar.

    5. But don’t forget your crush…for too long. It seems counterintuitive, right? Imagine meeting your crush and a bunch of their friends at McDonald’s. It’s a good idea to say hi to their friends before you start to make a group. You will find your crush feeling a little bit lonely until you include them (and make their day).

    6. Master the bump-and-flatter. "Accidentally" run into a hottie at a crowded party. You can make a joke and say "Oh sorry." I’m a total klutz with cute people. They’ll be immediately flattered and want to know more about you. You can then introduce yourself and start a conversation.

    7. Don’t look at them. I know, this seems so scary. When someone notices you staring at them, they usually turn away quickly to not realize you were actually eating a hamburger. Try this next time. You can have all the confidence you need. When your crush notices you, smile at them and maybe even wink. It will prove that you’re confident AF and will give them the excuse to come talk to you.

    8. Look at what they are wearing. Ask about any band shirts or sports jerseys they are wearing. It will make you seem sincere and interested in their life, and it will start a nice conversation where you can learn more about each other.

    9. Sometimes, be clear. You might be playing frisbee at the park when you accidentally throw it towards the girls near you. An exaggerated apology lets them know you’re flirting on purpose (and in on the joke) and could lead to a conversation.

    Face, Hair, Eyebrows and Photograph.

    10. Introduce your friend. If you’re not comfortable starting a convo by yourself, take your friend along. This may seem weird, but sometimes it’s easier to approach a person for someone else.

    11. Fight before they see you. Text your crush, "You should be wearing that blue shirt tonight. It will make your eyes shine! 🙂 A flirty message lets them know you are thinking of them and makes them want to see you again. Also, it’s a great way to see if your advice was taken.

    12. To break the ice, start with something simple. If you’re thinking of pick-up lines, the only ones that are coming to you are probably super lame recycled ones. "Did it hurt…when I fell from heaven?" Or: How much does an elephant weigh? Just enough to break up the ice. You don’t have to be perfect if you try to play it easy but fail. Accept your awkwardness and just be yourself. You know Jughead Jones would appreciate it.
