My reason for playing more enhancement is that it’s just my playstyle now elemental has got huge amounts of cleave opportunities. It’s got really good single target, it’s got great group play capabilities, but it’s just not changed that much from TBC.
The new addition of lava bursts, which you’ll use you’ll be keeping Flame Shock up 100% of the time, you’re going to be using chain lightning during cooldown, and you’re going to be spamming lightning bolt and using lava bursts whenever it comes off cooldown.
There’s really nothing more to it than that, other than perhaps getting in close and setting magma totems for AOE and then pulsing with fire and over and over again, slamming tons of chain lightnings on targets during cooldown. It’s not a huge shift. It boils down to if you liked Charmin in TBC Elemental Shaman In TBC I’m betting you’ll like it in Wrath.
