Jagex, more and more”OSRS participant attempts out RS3″ videos are popping up. Watching players that have not touched RS3 in 8+ years undergo the beginnings of rs2007 gold is a good way to figure out what works in the”new participant experience” and what doesn’t. Great example. The man is brand new with played oldschool, or pre-eoc RuneScape. There’s been a couple of things he has run because he misses the explanation into him flat out confuses, or does not get you. The toolbelt’s notion isn’t explained. The stamina bar in mining is disabled by default, and the idea of refreshing your endurance to keep up your mining speed isn’t educated. Hell, he even points out strange things that used to insect most people, but we have chosen to ignore because it’s gone awry by Jagex for so damn long, such as why complete helms and med helms have exactly the same stats. It appears to be a terrific way to get candid feedback from someone who isn’t a veteran of RuneScape.
Though I have never created any videos I am one of those guys. Let me tell you, the experience is OVERWHELMING! With all the advice it feels almost impossible to find any footing. Allowed as an OSRS participant I’m already eager to do things somewhat efficiently so that may hamper my beginnings in this game. Frankly speaking though, that feeling existed 16 decades back too. When RuneScape was so small, RuneScape did not tutor enough on just what the hell I was supposed to do. Though so, eventually figuring it out felt so satisfying.
I recently started an OSRS account along with an OSRS Ironman since I have a few friends that play and that I wanted something that I could interact with them. OSRS is stuck with by the feeling. RuneScapes are so far apart from each other but also from what RuneScape actually was in’07. Neither are an accurate or close recreation. I really don’t know where the regions how to get to them are. I really don’t know any of the new procedures for any ability or the fuck wintertodt is how to do it. If I hadn’t watched 3 complete collection of OSRS Ironmen I’d be fucked before I start.
Literally everything in OSRS is complex, although the battle for RS3 is more complex, yes. Not having a tool belt and needing to recall what I want to bring with me to get each and every skilling activity is cumbersome. The fastest way is labour intensive. As far as learning what QoL attributes you will find in RS3 is overwhelming is at least overwhelming.
I remade an accounts in Rs3 felt like this initially, got overwhelmed, and moved to school. But I got annoyed at how grindy RuneScape had been, and that I wanted things such as Lodestones that I had a taste of. Eventually I changed back, but chose to create an Iron so that I was not tempted to simply rush elements of RuneScape, and have not looked back. A few things I learned along the way: EoC is great, but you need to learn it. Whenever you want 8, you can do this. I did complete revolution for a good long while and just switched when I began learning Vindicta, which gave me an appreciation of buy rs3 gold the machine. I still do complete revo for slayer tasks because I’m lazy and it does when you are not bossing.
