Back in once I got my first Desktop, 2015, I decided to PSO2 Meseta PSO2 because it had been ages since I played it, and my computer could manage it. I played it, but pretty strictly alone, therefore I didn’t get too far, and the course I’d picked at the time was among the worst (from what I could remember at least, I played with Gunner) I still play PSO2 every once in a while, but it’s nothing like the other games from the series. Because I didn’t understand that my Wii could play Gamecube games, I ended up purchasing a Gamecube and a copy of PSO in 2018. It is still nice to be able to state that I have a Gamecube.
Was not going to post after initially reading this thread since the nostalgia hit hard. Robotech Battlecry had come out and that I wanted to play with, and then I saw this cover, and the co-op tag and was intrigued. I got lucky and got both matches cuz my parents decided to try PSO, and began Robotech, played a few levels and rocked. Figured it probably wouldn’t be anything great. Good god. In the opening to the character creation screen I was hooked. He was gonna stay over that weekend.
I had been one of a thousand Sephiroth clones, and I’d gotten my ass beat by De-Rol-Le when my buddy made his personality and I must taste co-op. I remember him taking that last shot with a pistol as my character was down and mimicked the struggle. We proceeded through mines in Ruins and awe in dread. The very first time that a Del-Saber jumpslashed murdering me in 1 blow. Not getting past Falz’s first form. Finding my rare. In the midst of a catastrophe I find that my main concern is a one. Will I receive and crack an xbox so I can feel some of that? My first Resta dodge? That I finally stepped into an internet reception and got to join a pursuit time. The events that are internet. That sense of video game community that is bizarre you find in online games that I never have to experience before, or really even afterwards.
I encountered Phantasy Star Online together with my friend, who introduced me to it. He transferred to GameCube and I played him split display, and sometimes online. When it struck Xbox I bought my own copy and vanished into Xbox Live for as long as I could get away, until my family pulled me back into the real world. I was saddened to hear that the servers were closed When the power has been back to play. To my pleasure however I found a few private servers that still played, I got a GameCube of my own to play on.
After a while I stopped playing with those servers, but never lost my passion for Phantasy Star Online 2. As it dropped on the Xbox 360 nevertheless, I did not like the look and texture of PSU, so I never bought into it. I rather regret not giving it more of an opportunity, but that I was addressing unemployment and a subscription fee within my life simply was not in the cards. I did however have a great deal of fun with PSP on the PSP, which can be nearly as fun since I had with it to say. I played PSP2, though I was alone. My very best friend had moved out, and none of my friends wanted to play this game that was obscure on this system, they had been too enamored with World of cheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta Warcraft, or Call of Duty, and so on.
