I will vote no to this since can play this efficiently and RuneScape gold I would rather see development tools used. Fair enough about the points against this new sport mode, but to state deadman has been”horribad” is laughable. Deadman was wildly successful, it attracted a lot of attention to OSRS and consistently generated hype. The finales were done but the fact doesn’t change that RuneScape style was fun to watch and play, even for players with no knowledge of RS.So you are saying how mtx makes the skill too simple and eliminates the grind where we had to spend over 100 hours for a 99, but then complain how yak trak and additional occasions for comsmetics are excessively grindy? Did you like the way that it used to be really”difficult” to get 99 fishing back when sharks were the ideal xp in sport and you had to spent hundreds of hours copying the thing repeatedly? Why people complain so 9, genuinely wish to understand better. It do not do it if you do not like. I just use my daily keys and proceed. Not exactly. The problem there, as I mentioned, is that jagex stated they were going make it grindy afterward did the reverse. But hey, you can buy a bond for skips if you did not wish to grind. I didn’t need to do this.
In terms of complaining, I did not start a thread to complain about mtx becoming prevalent or OP. Never have. I answered a question posed by OP and gave my own opinion that happened to be different than the individual I originally responded to. And obviously you do not have to do anything. You dismiss it, whichever works for you or can complain about all of it. I use my everyday keys and don’t think about mtx in any way. I could get all worked up over some fresh mtx thing, but it’s a whole lot easier to dismiss it and just have fun. Than that I do, sure enough others get more xp, but I don’t go all out maximal xp so It does not disturb me in the slightest.
Alot of people left over time as time continues, and frankly the MTX has gotten worse. RuneScape has slowly lost popularity and many people left for OSRS aswell over time. Its increasing in player numbers nevertheless, with the corona situation and archeology being a powerful update. Many despise the MTX however, the people who thought it ruined RuneScape already left for the most part, therefore its doing good in its existing condition. Much like how everybody left because EOC killed RuneScape. Yet here we are, the number of years? If mtx keep RuneScape alive that is awesome. If RuneScape goes another 10 years without mtx that’s awesome too. I don’t participate in the mtx.
Alot of people did although everyone did not quit. OSRS having nearly 3 times the participant numbers while being a very outdated game kind of talks for how much people didn’t like EOC and the MTX. RuneScape was enormous and it is going to be a long time until it completely dies because of invested people are in RuneScape. I dislike MTX but play RuneScape daily because I enjoy it. Not everybody play for exactly the same reasons though and for some the”contest” aspect was significantly diminished with the introduction of MTX, and others felt that their achievements didn’t mean as much because of MTX. I think that it’s completely fine to play RuneScape for all those reasons so that I do not blame folks for quitting because of it.
I recommend you put more work into your news releases that are initial may? There is not sufficient info and when people browse through and they set their opinions really early. So that individuals have all the information right Publish a movie explaining the notions and the reasoning behind it. “Fastest” achievements ought to be based on time spent in game – not first come, first serve. Like King of the Ability functioned. Otherwise you’re just giving a win to the no-lifers who perform with 16 hours every day. Is anybody with a complete time job meant to rs 3 gold compete with this?
