LMS and now this, they look fun but I’m worried about how much attention they’re placing on from sightout of mind runescape gold game modes which take players from their big MMO world and into their own little bubbles. Every individual Leagues that are playing would be a individual not doing anything with a person from the OSRS universe that is typical. Games of this genre are in their best when there is just one living, breathing world that everyone’s in. RuneScape has a tendency to feel like a single player game which you just happen to be playing alongside other people sometimes, and I truly wish they’d give a love to PvM items which you basically need to do in classes. Especially at lower-mid amounts, higher levels have GWD and raids and even shit like Zalcano I suppose, but OSRS is pretty much a single player game until you reach there.
Kinda bummed considering this isn’t a game style favorable for many players. A number people have children and full time jobs, where a few play RuneScape for a dwelling. And I know that it’s shit luck for a number of us however a new skill or something might happen to be fair and exciting, not a race to the end point. But good work on the creativity. I concur I have 8 kids and dogs to look after and a 60 hour a week job. I can play RuneScape for 15 minutes each month. I need Jagex made more content.
The content is aimed to be wider appealing. We ain’t really aiming this to be a super competitive game mode like we’ve done previously. It is a new take on Old School and a different way to play, whilst enjoying less you’ll receive less points, each point you get makes a difference concerning the rewards you can get on your main account. The only way I will observe this panning out (rather than getting ruined in the surveys ) is if you’re bucketed into a group of 50-100 players when you join. If everyone is competing against everyone, only the sweatiest gamers will take home the very best rewards. On the flip side, if you grouped into a small subset of this league playing population, you stand a much greater chance of coming out on top.
Either way, this notion is going to need a lot of fleshing out and refinement into pass.If the aim isn’t meant to be super competitive, why then in the very first paragraph, mention we’ll be”in a race to be the first to complete major Old School accomplishments”. That seems quite aggressive, imo. You mention a difference being made by that the things on the rewards for our mains. That’s unbalanced towards streamers. What they earn in 1 league, others will possibly take a much more, or year, worth of championships to acquire points are kept. It looks like I’ll be a difficult no on this particular vote. I’ll give it a one particulars are announced and possibly get swayed. However, this seems like a terrible idea.
They polled a new ability but it failed, does not imply they can’t add in a new skill and have something like this happening, just nothing now. Competition is a good thing for RuneScape and catering to those who have jobs and children is not a fantastic thing for RuneScape, if they could only make content for the lowest common denominator RuneScape would be very dull. Shit luck for you, that is a really unhealthy attitude to buy osrs gold about RuneScape – that because you don’t need to take part in articles they need to include, you feel the need to remark a passive aggressive passage on reddit relating to it instead of comment constructively.
